The EPA requires Generators, or persons involved with Hazardous Waste Management receive annual training. This course explains the relationship with DOT and OSHA and provides a straightforward training program to help with your compliance issues. We provide each student with a copy of the Hazardous Waste Regulations (40 CFR §260-280), along with workshops and case scenarios to aid students in their understanding as to how the rules apply. Keep up with the changes from EPA regarding the new Generator Improvement Rule, the DSW rules, Precious Metals exemptions and new Universal Waste streams. We will aid you in understanding your own state authorized program as well.
This course is geared towards hazardous waste generators that are required to understand the fundamental regulatory requirements that apply to their facility. After explaining the regulations in 40 CFR §260-265, the class focuses on workshops and case scenarios to aid students in their understanding as to how the rules apply. We also review the relationship with the DOT requirements for transportation of Hazardous Waste. Each student receives student handouts and our exclusive RCRA workbook on the fundamentals of the hazardous waste regulations. Certificates are issued upon successful completion.
