Fire Extinguisher Course Summary

Fire Extinguishers in the Work Place is a 90-minute course designed for general employees in all working environments, office workers, clerical staff, and others under the OSHA law 29CFR1910.157. It is not intended for those who serve on Incipient Fire Brigades, Industrial Fire Departments, or other fire service professionals.  The program will provide employees with an understanding of fire, the different classes of fire, the different types of fire extinguishers, and how to use them.  There is a practical evolution using a realistic fire simulator and an associated fire extinguisher.  The course also provides a review of the material at the end of the program.
